Stamp Design for 100 Years of Federico Fellini
The great Italian director, Federico Fellini celebrates his 100th birthday on 20 January 2020– in an inactive sense, admittedly, given that he left us back in 1993.Fellini was nominated for 12 Academy Awards; four of his films won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film: “La Strada” (1954), “Le Notti di Cabiria” (1957), “8 ½” (Otto e Mezzo, 1963) and “Amarcord” (1974). He won the Palme d’Or for “La Dolce Vita” (1960) and in 1993, he was granted an honorary Lifetime Achievement Oscar.

My goal was to commemorate the work and spirit of Fellini.
I found it very exciting to delve into the specifics, traditions and the more than one-and-half-century-long-history of this genre. I tried to get to know the world of stamps. My main line of conducting was to discover the life and art of the great director. I read some book of Fellini's life and art and of course I watched some best-known films made by the Italian maestro.

My observations:
Fellini's gesticulation, big hand, directorial tools, Fellini brand, red scarf, drawing knowledge, etc...
